In the Disney classic animated movie, the character of Jock was a male Scottish Terrier and voiced by Bill Thompson, who was best known for voicing the characters of Mr. Smee in “Peter Pan” and Mr. Slate in “The Flinstones”.

  • Just a side note… Bill Thompson only voiced Mr. Slate in one episode of the Flintstones early in the first season. After that, John Stephenson did the voice for Mr. Slate. I looked up Stephenson’s biography and it looks like while he was a staple for most of Hanna-Barbera’s shows, he only did one voice for Disney on an episode of Darkwing Duck. All this can be filed in the “totally useless information” folder. :-)
