Randomized Sequences Return to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park

Last November Star Tours: The Adventures Continue added a brand new ending sequence which put guests in the middle of Star Wars Episode VIII and landed in Batuu, the location of the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge themed lands coming to Disney Parks. We also told you that the set destinations would eventually come to an end and that guests would soon have the ability to choose which ‘Star Wars Era’ they wanted to visit, either the original Episodes I-VI, or Episodes VII-VIII.

While this choosing of the era hasn’t happened yet, as of today both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park are running Star Tours back at randomized locations. No longer will you be stuck with the newer episodes, you have the ability to visit Hoth and Nabuu once more.

There’s still no word on when or if this ‘pick your era’ will be happening, stay tuned for the latest details!

  1. But that’s not ‘as of today’?? I finished at Naboo (spelled correctly) twice during my vacation at WDW and that was 2 weeks ago.

  2. I also got stuck going to Naboo and Tatooine twice last week. The tenth though I had the new sequence.

    • Paris lists that with combined takeoff & landing options, a total of about 70 random variations is in use.

  3. I REALLY wish they would slant the randomness toward the scenes that have been seen the least amount of times by the guests on board. MagicBands make this a trivial exercise. I seem to see Naboo almost every time.
