Today is the last day guests will be able to utilize the old bus loop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that has been in operation since 1989. Starting on August 14th, 2018, the charter bus loop for the park will be utilized temporarily until the new bus loop is ready.

Here’s where guests will be able to find the bus they are looking for in the temporary loop starting tomorrow:

No bus stop for the Epcot resorts? I wondered if Beach/Yacht Club and Boardwalk would at least share one. Or do those guests have to bus to Epcot and walk/boat?

There is water transportation on the Friendship boats for Epcot resorts, or guests can use the walking path available. I believe the only time there are buses for Epcot resorts are when weather forces the boats to dock temporarily.

UPDATE: EPCOT Resorts (Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, Beach, Boardwalk) have boats to get between Hollywood Studios and their resort. If the boats stop running, then they run a bus from one of the load zones during the time(s) the boats aren’t running, There is NOT any cover shelter at all anywhere in any of them at all even for any resort or the park to park (Studios to AK etc….). This area you have marked is only a temporary area for Disney Resorts, the real area is being built where the word CLOSED is. The area you have marked CLOSED is… Read more »

Guests can boat or walk directly from Hollywood to Yacht & Beach, Boardwalk, and Swan & Dolphin, no need to bus to EPCOT to get there. The launch is outside the exit down to the left.

I’m assuming they will tell guests to take the boat to EPCOT.

Unfortunately no, we are still the furthest walk away from park entrance/exit. The walkway to/from the bus loop is the thin green line at the top that goes off to the right between numbers 12 and 13. Even the drop-off is furthest away from the walkway.

I believe the walk to this bus loop is (quite a bit) further than the walk from to/from the current bus loop.

Does anyone know where the MinnieVans will drop off in this new, temporary loop?

We just got back from WDW a couple of weeks ago. Stayed at the Polynesian, as we always stay at one of the Monorail resorts when we go. We could not believe the ridiculous walk we had to take both to/from Hollywood Studios after getting off the buses! Disney got this WRONG! No shade, and making their guests walk basically further than people who DROVE to the park??? When we FINALLY made it back to the bus pick up, everyone was red-faced from the heat (it was Sept 22, 90 degrees and 95% humidity) and we were close to heat… Read more »
