Perusing the Disney classifieds may occasionally reveal more than that dream job for which you ought never lose hope. Today we are treated to a rather exclusive, if unintended, announcement. Appearing suddenly on the Disney Careers website, a fresh Casting call indicates the return of Mickey’s Soundsational Parade to Disneyland Park.
With no official word from Disney, the job postings provide compelling evidence regarding the return of this high-energy, rhythmic extravaganza. Disney auditions will be held in September for “Male and Female Character Look-Alike Roles for Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.” The listing requests applicants be available for rehearsals from the end of November through January 2019. Performances, then, are scheduled to begin the end of January.
Absent for the past year, the return of this crowd-pleasing, crowd-involved spectacle is welcome, if unofficial news, indeed.
From the Disney Careers page: “Disney Parks Live Entertainment is seeking Male and Female Character Look-Alike Roles for Mickey’s Soundsational Parade performed at Disneyland® Park. Looking for characters from the following stories: The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Cinderella, Princess and the Frog, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, and Peter Pan.”
Just saw this and it’s the best news ever!
