Minnie Vans, the Uber-like car service operated by Walt Disney World Cast Members, is now offering round-trip service to the Orlando International Airport. In January the Airport service was launched only for trips to the airport, and only for Deluxe Resort guests. Then in March the airport service was expanded to guests at any Walt Disney World resort. Now, the service is available both to and from the airport.
The journey costs $150 each way, or $300 round trip. Unlike requesting a Minnie Van for transportation around Disney World, the airport service needs to be arranged by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. The service will be available for arriving flights between 7am-10pm and departing flights between 9am-12am.
Minnie Vans can hold up to six guests and eight normal-sized suitcases. Up to three car seats can be provided for the trip at no extra cost.
I have a Chevy Traverse and it will not hold up to 8 suitcases. Unless they plan on using a larger vehicle for the airport pickups.
I can rent a car for 4 days for less.
I will stick with the Magical Express going & the Tragical Express leaving.
Yes, that’s free. Disney World is too expensive as it is.
Ouch! That’s expensive! My SUV car service was $140 round trip. Provide you with bottled water, assist with luggage and are incredibly dependable. In fact, we’ve had the same driver almost every trip! So much nicer than Disney dropping you off so early for your flight.
you can get an uber xl for less than $60 one way. This is ridiculous. I’ll take my uber or my free magical express.
You can probably rent a limousine for that kind of scratch..
Great another Disney vehicle that is going to do 20 under the speed limit in the fast lane of 417 and then crosses three lanes of traffic to exit at the last minute…at least these will be easier than the buses to get around and back up to a tolerable speed
The price seems insane, even by Disney standards. I’m a sucker for giving them my money for a lot of things, but I don’t think I’d even consider this at the current price.
