The Minnie Van airport transportation service that launched a few months ago is now available to all guests at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort.
The service is offered to guests with airline flight departures out of Orlando International Airport from 9AM until 12AM daily. Transportation services can accommodate up to 6 persons per vehicle and up to three car seats for guests under the age of six. Guests using Minnie Vans to get to the airport are advised to use the Resort Airline Check-In for participating airlines.
The cost per trip is $150.00.
Minnie Vans is a paid transportation service that is operated by Disney and summoned through the Lyft app. Please check out our review to see how it works (for point-to-point travel around WDW) and if Minnie Vans will be right for you.
I’m totally of the group that always says, “hey, if you don’t like it, don’t use it”, but $150 for the one-way trip is outrageous!!!
This is a perfect time to stick to your previous method of handling these things. No one cares to hear the latter.
Actually, no one wants to hear your nasty retort. No one cares about your bad attitude.
$150.00 ! Not even close to what a cab would cost. What a money grab. :( And sadly people will pay for it. The so called middle class spends all that they have. And not always wisely.
Or those is us that are above middle class use it and laugh at your conniption fit.
$150!! That’s outrageous.
Says someone who’s probably never even seen $150 before.
You are the type of individual that my partner and I would move away from if you were seated next to us in a restaurant. You would immediately foul up the air.
Is Uber still allowed on property? I traveled from MCO to Epcot last year for less than $30 one way with Uber.
It is. Just like a Michelin star restaurant is available for those that can afford it, and then there’s Taco Bell for you.
Fight nice children, but does anyone know the “hidden cost” of the Free magical express? I don’t, so maybe, it might be worth it? Not sure, any info would be great. TY
I could see this being appealing to families who don’t want to leave as early as Magical Express for the airport. Just another option- doesn’t affect those of us who choose not to use it so who cares if they do? :-)
We had not seen this article so we booked a Minnie Van through the Lyft app. It showed $27. When the driver arrived he politely informed us of the $150 fee and 24 hour rule. Still not sure why it would show as available and inexpensive on the app when it’s not?!? Extremely disappointing.
