VIDEO: Avengers: Infinity War’s Iconic Thanos Battle Recreated in Gorgeous 16-Bit Graphics

Avengers: Infinity War is undoubtably an impressive looking movie, but you haven’t seen anything until you’ve watched the show-stopping first battle with Thanos recreated in a classic 16-bit graphics art style.

This stunning video from YouTube channel Mr Sunday Movies captures the highlights of this iconic battle scene, all while adding a unique flare that gamers from the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo era might be familiar with.

The video was animated by John Stratman and the music was done by Dave Anson. While this video was clearly a large undertaking for just two people, the hard work seems to have been well worth it, as the video has already netted over one million views in less than one week.

The first five minutes of the video show the entire battle scene, as imagined in a classic 16-bit art style, but the second half of the video replays the recreation side-by-side with the original scene, which further shows the accuracy and attention to detail included in the video.

One thing is for certain, after seeing this, it sure would be nice if a 16-bit Infinity War game actually did exist.
