Disney has shared some photos of Imagineering working on the new Centertown Market located at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort set to open to guests this fall. Upon arriving to check in, gusts with embark on their island-inspired vacation with new places to hang out, dine, and relax. Designed as an indoor street market-style quick service restaurant, Centertown Market will be full of color and details from throughout the Caribbean islands.

Imagineers put in a lot of research in designing and creating these colorful works of art throughout Centertown Market. The mural depicts a street parade complete with music, dance and lavish costume pieces made from feathers and colorful hand-cut and fringed crepe paper. Check out a few photos that Disney shared with us today.

Don’t forget to also check out the all-new Sebastian’s Bistro opening at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort as well.

  1. Haha…
I’m getting so dead tired of the generic word ‘imagineers’ … The imagineer is the denomination of whatever creative function on the Disney PAYROLL … :-)
This article is about : painters !
    Please, call them painters.
We need to grow up .. :-)

    • They are working for Walt Disney Imagineering so they are imagineers.

There are some painters working for the parks in the maintenance division, they are not imagineers.

  2. Love to see them incorporating some art and detail like this, and embracing that not everything has to be Disney character-driven.
