As Disney Springs gets ready for the holiday shopping season, Disney Parks Blog has announced three new offerings set to open in the coming weeks.
Coming to Marketplace Co-Op on Friday, October 12th, Disney Tails is the ultimate Disney shopping destination for pet lovers. Featuring character collections including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and the soon-to-debut Star Wars and Haunted Mansion lines, pet lovers will be able to find the ultimate Disney souvenirs for their four-legged friend. Themed comfort harnesses will make for very cute Halloween costumes! In addition, leashes, collars, and bandanas will be available, as well as squeaky toys themed to iconic Disney Parks snacks, including Mickey waffles, Mickey ice cream bars, and Mickey pretzels.
Previously announced last month, Lovepop, makers of pop-up greeting cards, will open its Marketplace Co-Op location in mid-October. These 3-D paper sculptures will be sure to delight for any occasion. A specific opening date has yet to be announced.
The Art of Disney Presents Greg McCullough
For a limited time, The Art of Disney will have a specialty pop-up shop celebrating the works of Greg McCullough. McCullough will appear at the shop Tuesdays through Sundays from 1 PM to 7:30 PM, where he’ll be meeting fans, signing his work, and even painting new works. Fans will be able to purchase original art, limited editions, and prints of McCullough’s work. In addition, pieces from McCullough’s Disney Remnants and Abstract Remnants collections, mosaics made from recycled unused oil paint, will be available. Coming to the former LittleMissMatched location, the shop will be open from November 3rd to January 1st.
Disney also revealed that Basin’s refurbishment is almost complete, and should reopen later this month. The refurbishment should provide a lighter and brighter look to the store with an opened-up floor plan.
From works of art to beautiful cards to fun for furry creatures, there will be even more to enjoy at Disney Springs for the holiday shopping season.
