New Magic Shots Offered for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2018

You might leave Disney World with that perfect shot for your Christmas card thanks to new festive PhotoPass opportunities at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Several new magic shots will be available when parties kick off Thursday, including one that makes it look like guests are serving up a Mickey Mouse cookie and another that gives the illusion of hoisting a giant candy cane in front of Cinderella’s Castle.

The cookie magic shot will be available in Adventureland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The candy cane shot can also be found on the bridges leading to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.

If Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is your favorite part of the party, new magic shots include a smiling gingerbread man and reindeer. This shot is available at the main entrance to Magic Kingdom.

An animated shot will also show the parade’s toy soldiers marching into your photo on Main Street, U.S.A.

Couples can get romantic with a mistletoe magic shot, available from any PhotoPass photographer except for those stationed at character meet-and-greets.

If your kids (or you) plan to pay a visit to Santa while at the party, a special animated video simulating a photo album will be offered.

Props available for photos during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party include a Tinkerbell lantern as well as several signs featuring phrases like “Happy Holidays.”

Speaking of Tinkerbell, she will don a festive outfit to make an appearance in magic shots on Main Street, U.S.A. while Olaf will make appearances in photos taken on the bridges leading to Liberty Square, Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
