Drinkwallah, everyone’s favorite Indian-inspired Coca-Cola stand in Animal Kingdom, has been getting a lot of love recently. At the beginning of this year, they reworked the counter to be more visible and more accessible. Now, after several months, the space behind it has become an expanded, and quite lovely, “lower garden”.
The seating area has a new covered section resting above the river. This is the view as seen from the Asia bridge from Discovery Island.
The lower garden can be accessed either from the left side of the counter (via stairs, or a ramp further down), or from the right by a fun set of stairs along the river.

This addition is just as well-themed as the rest of Anandapur. It feels like it was always there.
Drinkwallah is just across the bridge from Discovery Island, right across the path from the Yak & Yeti Restaurant which is always seemingly short on seating. Surely some guests from that establishment will pour over into here.
Hi, very good blog and Disney news. One question, as it may be that Animal Kingdom has so few places to sit and rest. Maybe this is wrong, but in my last visit (2017) we had many difficulties to find where to sit down to rest. In the other 3 parks there are seats and benches everywhere … Greetings from Argentina, Andres.
