Let’s see what new things Disney Springs has in store for us today, shall we?

Disney Springs seems to be ready for the return of Mary Poppins. Are you?

They still have the “Mary Poppins Returns” Pop vinyl available at Disney Pin Traders in the Marketplace. Quite a few of them, actually.

We also have these lovely new Port Orleans pins that go along with the new collection we showed you a few days ago.

Nearby, the old Little Mismatched space has transformed into the Art of Greg McCullough. You can buy prints of his work, or even some original paintings if you’ve got the coin. He also meets here on certain days through the end of the year.

Speaking of The Art of Disney, there are a few new pieces in that shop as well. I found this lovely Disney Cruise Line piece.

They also still have a couple of original Disney animation production drawings for sale. A hefty sum, but these are not common outside of the auction circuit these days.

I also found a couple of fun, rather obscure options in the Art on Demand kiosk.

This is everyone’s favorite mini-golf course, right?

The Disney artist was on break, but they were in the middle of this fine drawing of Kronk running back into the kitchen for his spinach puffs.

Over where the Hanes Create-a-Shirt store used to be is… just an annex. They’ve spread the shop’s product out into the old space and given it a nice coat of white paint. There has to be a better use for this space…

If you saw the Christmas Tree trail earlier in the season, or haven’t seen it at all yet, it’s worth checking out. They’ve re-arranged some of the trees, and they have fancy cotton candy now.

You know, with the amount of money they spent re-designing the World of Disney and the giant new signage, you’d think they would remember to change ads for it as well.

If you’re feeling especially festive and have a sweet tooth, Amorette’s Patisserie has a few Christmas goodies on display.

The gingerbread house is, unfortunately, for display only.

They also have a selection of gingerbread cookies and holiday macarons.

Construction Updates

Here are just a few updates on the remaining construction projects around Disney Springs. The pedestrian bridge to the new parking garage is coming along nicely. They are finishing up the brick work.

Jaleo is inching closer and closer to the finish line. They recently installed the giant letters for the signage across the facade. The construction site seemed busy today. I’m sure they want to open as soon as they can as they advertised they would this year.

The NBA Experience is slowly but surely coming into being. The shell of the building seems almost complete, though the inside is still just steel beams.

The NBA Experience should open in the Summer of 2019 if all goes according to plan.
