REVIEW: Beaches & Cream Soda Shop’s Holiday Milkshake Has All The Cookies Santa Could Want

It’s difficult to visit the Beach Club at Walt Disney World without stopping into Beaches and Cream Soda Shop for ice cream. Even during the cold Florida winters, Beaches and Cream shakes and sundaes are a must. They’ve recently started serving specialty milkshakes and have added a seasonal holiday shake. This one tastes even better than it looks!

Santa approves

A smoothly blended cookies and cream milkshake is decorated just in time for the season! The shake is served in a souvenir cup with a rim of crushed candy canes. The crushed peppermint pieces are held on with a thin layer of frosting. Unless you make an effort to incorporate them into the ice cream, you really won’t taste the peppermint. They compliment the vanilla ice cream and chocolate cookie pieces well, so if you’re a fan of peppermint, try mixing them into the shake for extra flavor.

Yummy!

Santa will surely agree that the cookie sandwich atop the cookies and cream milkshake is the best part. Some Disney chocolate chip cookies are barely edible, but these cookies make up for all the bad ones. Seriously, the chocolate chip cookies are ridiculously good. They’re soft and chewy, with the perfect amount of frosting filling.

Sorry Santa, we aren’t sharing

The cookie sandwich has festive green and red chocolate crisps around the outside and is topped with a chocolate Mickey Mouse Santa hat. The ears are milk chocolate, but the rest of the hat is white chocolate.

Not today, Santa, not today

These festive looking milkshakes will cost you $14. That’s priced a little high for a milkshake, but you do get to keep the cute plastic mason jar.  Plus that cookie sandwich is seriously amazing.

These milkshakes are delicious and are truly works of art, even if they’re overpriced. If nothing else, this seasonal milkshake is gorgeous and worthy of photographing for all of your social media needs. This new holiday shake can be purchased inside Beaches and Cream or from the to go counter. We hope to see more seasonal milkshakes in the future!
