This is a big year for Mickey Mouse. He’s getting an all-new outfit for his newest celebration and his very own attraction in what is known as the heart of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So it’d only make sense that Disney would honor his 90-year tenure with a whimsically retro collection aptly titled, “Mickey Through The Years.” We spotted this latest collection at Art of Disney in the Main Street Cinema at Magic Kingdom. Let’s do some Main Street window shopping, shall we?
First up is this cute ringer tee. As with most of the collection, it features Mickey in a variety of outfits he’s worn throughout the years. The interesting thing is, this collection spans time and space with its inclusion of different Disney parks. There’s Classic Mickey, Safari Mickey from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Jester Mickey from Disneyland Paris, Mickey in a blue suit and gold vest for Shanghai Disney, Davy Crockett Mickey from Frontierland and Fort Wilderness, Dapper Dan Mickey from Main Street, U.S.A., and more!
Walt always keeping us humble. Honor his and Mickey’s legacy with this extra soft raglan long-sleeve tee.
Another aspect of this collection is a pattern created via a collage of buttons, posters, and other promotional materials from the parks throughout the years. I spy a Disney Cruise Line luggage tag and a SpectroMagic sticker! (It’s like a Rorschach test for Disney fans!)
Here we see a mix of both designs with promo pattern Mickey and Mickey sketches in the background.
You get two totes in one with this bag! It features Mickeys in chronological order, starting with OG Plane Crazy Mickey, to Steamboat Willie Mickey, and more!
Christmas may be 12 months away, but we don’t see why you couldn’t use these as regular ornaments around the house.
In a similar style to the Starbucks travel mugs, these feature Walt’s famous quote, signature, and promo pattern Mickey on the opposite side.
This mug follows the style of the ringer tee and we love it.
