We’ve been keeping our eyes on the construction walls erected around the Animal Kingdom 20th Anniversary Photo Frame for a while now. It looked like it was going to be replaced with a new frame, but we weren’t prepared for this masterpiece. (What is this, #ArtfulEpcot?) This new “The Lion King” photo op at Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates the legendary film’s 25th anniversary.
The large wooden structures features colorful patterns and vignettes from the film, including the classic “Baby Simba on Pride Rock” moment. Mufasa, Scar, Timon and Pumbaa, and Rafiki with Baby Simba all make an appearance.
The photo op is part of a park-wide celebration of The Lion King’s 25th Anniversary. The main event for the celebration is the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party, which debuts tomorrow! Timon and Rafiki will be hosting the party and encouraging guests to let their inner animal roam free on the dance floor in this wild party.
A 110+ dollar photo op🤔
It’s actually located just outside the entrance to the park… so you could technically take it for free.
no need to defend. it’s worth it at $110, for free it’s a steal!!!!!!
