A brand new Trader Sam’s themed dress and purse from The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane is coming out soon! This dress matches the pattern of the men’s shirt that came out last July while the purse features a shrunken zombie head, similar to the new mug that was released in October.
We found the new dress and purse on display at the Co-Op at Disney Springs, where it will be coming out very soon at this location, and presumably at Disney’s Polynesian Resort as well.
Here’s a closer look at the dress pattern, featuring the Nautilus, Krakatoa Punch, Shrunken Zombie Head, the Shipwreck on the Rocks (a Disneyland-only drink), as well as some of the mugs sold in other locations at the Polynesian.
The crossbody purse mimics the shrunken zombie head mug well, while adding a cute twist to that follows the design theme of the dress and accompany men’s shirt.

How does a West Coaster, like myself, get the dress and purse? Do I have to go to Disneyland? Or can I order online somewhere?

I love this (and am a huge Trader Sam’s fan), but I wish they had done it in a background color other than the same green they used for the Enchanted Tiki Room dress. I can’t justify buying two dresses that will look nearly identical from even a short distance.
Although I do love the dress as it is, I do agree it would have been nice to be a different background. I’ll still get it if I can, even though I already have the Tiki Room dress, just because I like the style of this one better.
