Earlier today, we giddily announced that Maleficent would be making her triumphant return to the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom in this afternoon’s parade. Well, we had to be there to watch her in action. According to Disney Parks, while she still has her same Steampunk style and signature wicked smile, the Maleficent dragon now has a refreshed look enhanced with new safety features designed to keep her in check. Check her out in action!

Thankfully, she didn’t burst into flames like she did back in May and we’re so happy she’s finally back to replace that underwhelming Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip float that replaced her for the remainder of last year. Our Steampunk queen is back!
