REVIEW: Jolly Holiday Bakery Heart-Shaped Mousse Dessert – Valentine’s Month at Disneyland Park
The Disneyland Resort has launched another celebration, this one themed around love and Minnie Mouse. From January 22 to mid-February, guests can enjoy Valentine’s Month at Disneyland Resort by engaging in a new scavenger hunt and eating from a list of seasonal treats. Jolly Holiday Bakery is a great location for cute, photo-worthy desserts. And this new Heart-Shaped Mousse Dessert is the personal seasonal treat for that purpose.
Heart-Shaped Mousse Dessert – $5.99
This Valentine-themed dessert is made of raspberry mousse with vanilla bean crème brûlée center. I love the presentation, especially the Minnie Mouse chocolate bow and gold leaf. For the price, I do think this dessert is a little on the small side. However, it tastes incredible, which justifies the purchase.
It was very easy to eat this dessert with a plastic spoon. The sprinkles on the outside really add a nice crunch to each bite of mousse. And the mousse itself was very light, but creamy. This is much easier for one person to enjoy by themselves than the Mickey Mouse Club Hat Dessert, which is made of rich chocolate mousse. The vanilla bean crème brûlée center also worked much better in this dessert, too.
The Jolly Holiday Bakery on Main Street U.S.A. is known for their delicious selection of desserts, and this new addition is sure to be a fan favorite. Not only is the Heart-Shaped Mousse Dessert tasty, but it’s cute and worthy of photos! Hopefully it’ll make a return next year for Valentine’s Day.
