Rancho del Zocalo was partially prepared for the first day of “Get Your Ears On.” They had the frozen strawberry horchata, but didn’t have the Mickey Hat Dessert of the Sopes Trio. The cast member on duty told me that they will have everything next week. So if you’re planning to Get Your Ears On and celebrate yummy food, you might want to check out availability.

Frozen Strawberry Horchata – $5.99

This item is flavored with strawberry and topped with whipped cream, dehydrated strawberry, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I”m not a horchata person, so this drink tasted a little odd to me. One of our other reporters liked it more than I did, so keep that in mind. The strawberry cinnamon combo tasted off. The texture of the drink also felt a little grainy.
