Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing a lengthy three month refurbishment beginning in early August.
During the closure, there will be a temporary location at Disney’s Beach Club Resort available to offer guests their ice cream fix. Unfortunately, during the closure the walk-up window will be closed as well. The reason for the refurbishment is to improve the pre-existing layout of the eatery. Let’s hope they can manage to fit in a few more seats while they’re at it.
During the three month refurbishment, the arcade located next door will also be closed.
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, along with their monstrous milkshakes, delicious sandwiches, and more will reopen towards the end of 2019.
They need more space.
I wonder if the arcade is even coming back.. maybe they’re knocking down a wall.
I assume not, but that’s a lot of space for a tiny kitchen to serve. I assume they’re just taking some of it.
Get rid of the stupid arcade and make the ice cream shop bigger!
Was there last week and the manager told us that they were expanding both to the left and to the right of the existing eatery to add more space !
Really closing the best ice cream spot in the middle of summer? Dont you think Jan/Feb/Mar makes more sense??
They don’t mention what the “temporary location” is, but I’m guessing it’s likely Ariel’s (again)?
