Last Fall, Disney announced two special dining events taking place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Convention Center exclusively for Tables in Wonderland members, and now they’re adding some additional dates to the list, offering members more opportunities to experience these special occasions.
The first event is the “Culinary Adventures with the Chefs of Disney: An Interactive Cooking Experience,” in which guests will become culinary “students” and spend 60 minutes at designated cooking stations, where they will prepare various dishes under the guidance of the Disney chefs. After crafting a special meal, guests will feast on a five-course meal at the Chef’s Table, along with paired wines selected by the chefs themselves. This three-hour experience is available for $259 plus tax (gratuity included). In addition to the pre-existing Saturday, March 2 and Saturday, March 30 dates, the event is now being offered on Saturday, May 11 as well, making this an ideal Mother’s Day weekend celebration for any family. Members attending the event on this date are promised “a few extra special take-aways to honor mom,” which is something to consider for those looking to get the most bang for their buck.
There is some important information to consider about this event, before you book. The event is intended for guests ages 12 and above. When making reservations, please be sure to inform the Cast Member about any food allergies. Finally, for your safety, be sure to wear closed-toe shoes for the event.

The second special dining event is the “Contemporary Resort Chef’s Table Experience” where guests can enjoy a six-course meal presented by the Disney Chefs. The event will begin with a reception and champagne toast in the Contemporary Resort’s convention center, before moving to the Chef’s Table for the main meal and selected wine pairings. The dining event will be interactive, as guests will get to meet and speak with the various Disney chefs and sommeliers. The price point for this dining experience is $259 per guest, plus tax, and gratuity is included. In addition to the Thursday, March 7 date Disney has added two new dates on Thursday, April 18 and Thursday, May 2.
A couple of important notes about this event: Again, please inform the Cast Member of any allergies when booking. This event is designed for guests ages 18 years and older. Guests are asked to adhere to a minimum dress code, as this is a Signature Dining event. The dress code is as follows:
- Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.
- Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.
- Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.

Tables in Wonderland members can make reservations for up to ten guests (including themselves) and a valid Tables in Wonderland card must be presented upon arrival. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance in order to ensure a proper refund, and discounts cannot be applied to either of the two events.
