We had some free time, so we made a trip over to Disney Springs to see what was new. We started our visit by checking out the construction on the West Side.
Jaleo by Chef Jose Andres should be getting closer to opening. We can’t see many changes over the walls, but at least the “Coming in 2018” sign has been removed.
Across from Jaleo, the NBA Experience is making a lot of progress. We always hear a lot of activity taking place beyond the walls every time we visit. It sounds like they are hard at work to get this open on time. The NBA Experience will be opening this summer.
Sprinkles Cupcakes has the “Isn’t It Romantic” Cupcake available for $5.50. It’s a passion fruit cake topped with Meyer lemon frosting. Sounds good.
Over at Goofy’s Candy Co. we found some dressed up caramel apples. These specialty caramel apples are $10.99 each.
Goofy’s Candy Co. also took away a lot of flavors for the fresh cotton candy.
The Art Corner is now open. The new store offers different types of caricatures, name art, and marbling. You can pick your own colors and pattern, and create a unique scarf. This experience is also offered during the Festival of the Arts at Epcot.
There’s also some artwork on display that every coffee lover will appreciate.
Even more scented snack pillows have arrived. You can find strawberry scented macarons and chocolate scented cupcakes and Mickey bars among the previously released snacks. You can take home your own scented pillow for $27.99. They still have a wide selection of other snack pillows, too. There are donuts, pizza, and Dole Whips, too.
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, the “Kiss Smee I’m Irish” shirt is now available for $24.99. I might need this.
Thanks for joining us around Disney Springs. Are you looking forward to all the new things opening later this year?
