The weather has been beautiful, and the crowds are starting to slow down after the holiday weekend, so we knew it was a good day to visit the Magic Kingdom.
There’s been so much new merchandise released lately, we decided to do a little shopping on Main Street first. When we stopped by the Emporium, we found a few new shirts on display. There’s a very colorful Mickey Mouse shirt with the words “Spring Break 2019 Walt Disney World” . This is also a reminder that the Spring Break crowds are coming.
If you’re a fan of “The Lion King”, we also found a Zazu “I’m So Fly” shirt. This might be a good choice to wear when you’re visiting Animal Kingdom for the Hakuna Matata dance party.
My absolutely favorite shirt we found was “The Dinglehopper Hair Salon” shirt. Scuttle from “The Little Mermaid” with his hair combed out. The barber poles on each side are dinglehoppers. I mean forks. There’s a quote on the shirt, “Just a little twirl here and a yank there and voilà you’ve got an aesthetically pleasing configuration of hair that humans go nuts over!” “Est. 1989” is on the bottom. If you’re a fan of “The Little Mermaid”, you’ll definitely appreciate the details in this shirt.
These shirts are $24.99 each. When you buy two or more, you get a deal of $22 each, so you may as well buy a couple.
If you’re going broke from all the new Disney Parks Collection jewelry releasing lately, then you should scroll by quickly. There’s even more. Three new bracelets were just released and they’re beautiful. Each bracelet has a Disney-inspired saying on the side. You have your choice of silver Dumbo, gold Peter Pan, or a pair of rose gold Minnie ears. They’re available for $19.99 each.
Over by Space Mountain, the wall has been extended. You can still exit through the side doors of the Space Mountain gift shop, but its a much more narrow pathway since the addition of walls along the sides of the Tomorrowland Speedway track. We could see new metal poles are in place, most likely to add more screens.
We could see one of the Tomorrowland Speedway cars out, and a tech looking at the track.
Over the fences, we spotted Casey Jr. getting a fresh coat of paint. The refurb continues into next month, so it’s hopeful we’ll get a fresh looking Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak area when it reopens.
We made our way to Adventureland where Aladdin and Jasmine were getting ready to meet guests for the day.
You can now get the Hei Hei Dole Whip at Aloha Isle!
It was a beautiful day.
Maybe everyone is busy enjoying the final days of the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, but the park seemed quiet.
Thanks for joining us around the Magic Kingdom!
