REVIEW: The Lost Princess Cone Swirls Into Storybook Treats at the Magic Kingdom

Storybook Treats at the Magic Kingdom is no stranger to fanciful, unique cone creations. They’re the ones who brought us the delicious Peter Pan Float as well as the Maleficent Cone (that seems to only make appearances around Halloween and Villaintine’s Day.) Now, they’ve come up with another inspired treat: The Lost Princess Cone. While we got a sneak peek of this and two other character cones earlier this week, we were at the Magic Kingdom bright and early this morning to try out the new treat.

This cone pays homage to the long-haired, cast iron pan-swinging fearless princess, Rapunzel. She went missing when Mother Gothel took her, and as result, became known as The Lost Princess. The Kingdom of Corona would release lanterns every year on her birthday to remember her.

The Lost Princess Cone is a purple cone and comes topped with lemon soft-serve and a beautiful display of edible flowers. The cone costs $5.29.

Compared to the Hei Hei cone and the “Adventure Is Out There” cone, this one is the real show-stopper.

The lemon soft serve was pretty tart, but delicious and refreshing. The flowers are edible, but reviewers felt iffy about pairing them with the ice cream. I say do as Rapunzel would do. (And definitely get this cone.)

Will you be swinging into Storybook Treats for this Tangled-inspired cone? Surely it will set you up for the best day ever.
