Disney’s Animal Kingdom Hours Extended on Select Dates in April and May

On select days in April and May, the call of the wild is going to last a little longer.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be extending its operating hours, allowing for even more travels to the savannas of Africa, the floating mountains of Pandora, or even back in time to the end of the Cretaceous period. (Just don’t tell Dr. Marsh!)

Here’s the list of adjusted times:

  • April 7 – 28: Park closes at 9:30 PM (previously 8 PM)
  • April 29 – May 2: Park closes at 9 PM (previously 8:30 PM)
  • May 3 – 4: Park closes at 10 PM (previously 8:30 PM)

In addition, on Memorial Day, May 27th, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open at 8 AM (previously 9 AM). And if that’s not enough time to enjoy all the park has to offer, the Extra Magic Hour for May 27th has been moved to 7 AM-8 AM to compensate for the new hours. The park is scheduled to close at 9 PM that day.
