On a recent walk around Magic Kingdom, I noticed that some of the water had started creeping back in.

It does look like they cleaned up some of the sludge and mold that had built up in the bottom of the moat, though.

Over on the side where construction is expected to begin on widening the pathway, they’ve managed to keep the water a bit more at bay.

The pathway remains open and unchanged. But with the moat surrounding Cinderella Castle remaining drained, construction should begin any day now.

It’s not hard to see why widening this pathway is going to be a necessary improvement.

My fingers are still crossed that we get to keep these cute wrought iron benches once construction is completed!

We’ll be keeping an eye on this project, so keep checking back with WDWNT for updates!
