We were there when the construction walls went up. Then we were there as demolition began. Now they’ve cleared the land, and preparations can begin for construction on the upcoming addition to the Swan and Dolphin Resort complex, “The Cove”.

Here’s what the demolition site looks like. There’s still some clean-up work going on, but most of the debris has been removed.

Here’s the exact same spot from about a month ago. Quite a view change, I would say.

The dirt movers were busy at work today. I’m sure they want to get this project going as soon as possible.

This part of the site encompasses the areas that were the picnic pavilions as well as part of the old parking lot. Most of this space will be a new parking lot for the hotel and golf course.

This area was the tennis court. If our sources are correct, the new hotel tower will go in this space.

If you don’t mind a little bit of construction noise, you can still enjoy a round or two of mini golf. The work isn’t directly affecting the course as of now.

The pathway to the miniature golf course is pretty narrow right now. It will continue to be as construction gets under way. They have a long way to go.
