Thanks to our friends at NearMap, we have some recent aerial imagery from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park. This is the same land and layout of the same land being built on the east coast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These images were taken in February 2019.
Here we have an overall look at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
From left to right: X-Wings dot the walkway to the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction, located in a secret Resistance base out in the woods of Batuu, all leading to Black Spire Outpost, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run (which is located behind the Falcon as you might have guessed), and down to the right-edge of the land is the week-old First Order outpost on the edge of town.
A closer look at Rise of the Resistance and Smuggler’s Run, along with the Black Spire Outpost. The ship on the rooftop near center is perched on top of Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
On the left here is the queue for Rise of the Resistance, winding through caves and ruins that the Resistance have repurposed for their temporary needs. The main path passes an X-Wing and an A-Wing fighter on the right.
To the other side of the planet, we find the TIE Echelon fighter parked where the First Order has set up shop.
The Millennium Falcon leads to Smuggler’s Alley, home of Oga’s Cantina and a series of shops.
A closer look at the Millennium Falcon in its finished form.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens Summer 2019 at Disneyland Park and Fall 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with exact opening dates expected to be announced later today.
