Just in time for International Women’s Day, Captain Marvel made her big debut at Disney California Adventure with a shiny new meet and greet, with fans lined out the door to meet the latest superhero to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain Marvel looks amazing… but where’s Goose?
While we expected Hangar 12 to be finished in time for the meet and greet, it’s still well under construction. For the time being, the meet and greet takes place on the back side of the Hollywood Lounge Refreshment Stand in Hollywood Land.
They’ve already covered up the old Up and Wall-E Instagram walls with panels, albeit superficial ones, leaving them available for future photos, should the need arise.
The makeshift photo walls are great with the ’90s neon on top, as well as various Captain Marvel crests and badges.
Banners from the queue lines have the S.H.I.E.L.D. symbol, featuring the iconic eagle. We thought that was a nice touch.
If you’d like to experience the Captain Marvel meet and greet, but can’t quite make it out to Anaheim, fear not. We have a full video of the experience:
Captain Marvel meets from 9:45 AM to 3:00 PM every day. She joins the likes of Spider-Man, Captain America, and Black Panther in Disney’s California Adventure Park, further intensifying Marvel’s ever-growing presence in and around the resort.
