Tiki Juice Bar at Disneyland to Test Mobile-Only Ordering In Preparation For Galaxy’s Edge Crowds

Last fall, Disneyland introduced mobile-ordering to Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland. Now Disneyland will be testing a mobile-only ordering process for the famed establishment in anticipation for the massive crowds coming with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on May 31.

Disney will switch Tiki Juice Bar to mobile-only ordering for a brief testing period spanning from March 28-30 in an effort to reduce congestion before Galaxy’s Edge opens. This should alleviate the often massive lines that form around Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, making the Adventureland walkways a major choke point.

During this testing period, guests that wish to purchase a Dole Whip using cash or card can still do so by heading over to the recently opened Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland.

The move to mobile-only ordering is part of Disneyland’s ongoing Project Stardust initiative to reduce pinch points throughout the park before the influx of visitors arrive for Galaxy’s Edge. The hope is that a number of smaller congestion solutions will add up to make Disneyland a much more pleasant place to navigate even after the opening of Galaxy’s Edge.

During the three-day test, Cast Members will be around Tiki Juice Bar to direct guests to Tropical Hideaway and to help with the mobile ordering process.
