BREAKING: PizzeRizzo to Reopen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 4th

Disney has just confirmed that the always-closed PizzeRizzo restaurant will finally reopen to guests on May 4th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

With its reopening comes an all-new dessert in the form of a Peanut Butter & Jelly Verrine with layers of homemade peanut butter cream and grape jelly.

It’s also set to reopen the day that ABC Commissary closes for its brief refurbishment (before reopening in late May for its new fast casual dinner service, which starts on June 2nd.)

The seasonal restaurant is expected to close again by the end of May/beginning of June, so get your fill of bad pizza while you still can.

  1. That’s do right.. crappy pizza. It is amazing how Disney Food can do some fantastic things, they really do…but pizza… I’ve had Frozen Digorno that’s better.
    WHY??

    • Also, Nestle owns Digorno and Nestle is already in Disney parks…it really does seem a match made in heaven.

  2. .. REALLY crappy pizza but..WHY?
Disney Food does so many things so well..how can they mess up pizza like this. They should serve Digorno frozen and make it sponsered. That way we get better pizza and they get money for sponcership…
    A win-win

Readers want informative and professionally written articles. They don’t want what Jessica wrote today.

      • I prefer honesty in the articles especially before I spend money in the parks. She is correct, it is pretty bad and they could charge a little more and have killer pizza. Lines would be out the door after Star Wars open.

      • Nick is spot on with his criticism. If this is supposed to be WDW “NEWS” today then just tell us the news that Pizzarizzo is re-opening and not give us an opinion unless you are going to call this post a “Review”.

      • It has a nice headline. People can’t unclick the article.

The quality of the food should definitely be mentioned, just in a professional manner instead of treating it like a personal Facebook status.

    • It was an informative article letting us know when the restaurant would be open again. This is also WDWNT these folks are known for their occasional humorous commentary about the subject matter added in, that’s what makes them so great. Did someone say seven?

  4. I don’t get why people bad mouth the dough pizzas. I always enjoy them thoroughly each time I have one. It’s way better than the cracker pizzas aka Flatbreads.

    • I’m with you Steve. Is it gourmet? No. Is it Via Napoli? No. It’s a chewy, doughy pizza that will fill you up to go back outside and enjoy more of DHS. I can think of a lot worse that I’ve put in my mouth over the years at WDW.
