Jambo! from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! It’s been a long time, no see for me with this park, so let’s take a walk around to see what’s new!
Right past the entrance to the park, there is an art installation of a penguin made out of recycled trash. Its similar to the one we found at Epcot a couple of weeks ago.
The statue is in celebration of Earth Day, coming up on April 22nd, and for the upcoming release of the Disneynature movie, Penguins.
#Otterwatch2019 is still in full effect on Discovery Island, with the Otter Grotto (presented by OtterBox) still under construction.
Its hard to see through the trees, but the housing structure they’re building seems to be coming along, and it looks like the roofing is almost fully in place now.
At the Starbucks location inside Creature Comforts, I found the Disney’s Animal Kingdom version of the new “Been There” series of mugs that have arrived at the Disney Parks.
I’m loving the artwork on this new series of mugs, and I personally can’t wait to add them to my (already overflowing) collection.
I spotted the new Night Blossom Banshee that arrived at Windtraders in Pandora.
I also came across this adorable new Minnie Mouse plush. Recognize her dress? It’s almost exactly the same as the new “Up” inspired dress that can be found at The Dress Shop, so you can twin with Minnie!
That’s all for my day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! I’ll join Chester and Hester in saying “see y’all real soon!”
