RUMOR: DuckTales World Showcase Adventure to Replace Agent P Attraction at Epcot

After seven (yeah, seven) years of missions and defeating the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz, it appears that Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure at Epcot is going to be replaced with a similar interactive game featuring Huey, Dewey, and Louie, Webby, Scrooge McDuck.

According to sources, the Ducktales overlay of the World Showcase Adventure Attraction should be coming soon.

Missions will likely still direct you to one of the following international pavilions:

  • Mexico Pavilion
  • China Pavilion
  • Germany Pavilion
  • Japan Pavilion
  • France Pavilion
  • United Kingdom Pavilion

Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure replaced the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure back in summer of 2012, and the game technology was later upgraded to allow agents to use their own smartphones while on their missions back in 2016. (Until then, agents had to use a F.O.N.E. (Field Operative Notification Equipment) device, otherwise known as a Samsung flip phone.) You can also access the game via the Play Disney Parks app.

The change would continue the tradition of updating the attraction to reflect a more contemporary Disney Channel program.

No further details or confirmation from Disney are available at this time, but stay tuned to WDWNT as more information becomes available.

If you’re ready for one last mission, (plus a trip down memory lane,) we’ve dug up an ancient video relic of what the game was like circa 2012:

  1. Awesome! Suddenly I’m interested in doing this now… even if I may have to drag my three year old along, hah!

  2. Does soon mean before August? We’re making our first family Disney trip in late August (before Galaxy’s Edge opens) and I was really looking forward to the Agent P adventure. Ducktales will still be fun of course, but my two boys and my husband and I really loved Phineas & Ferb and it would be fun to have that as part of our Epcot experience.
