As part of the ongoing refurbishment (and overhaul) of Tomorrowland in preparation for the opening of the Tron Lightcycle Power Run that’s set to open just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021, new paint is showing up all over Tomorrowland. There’s new paint on the Speedway, pops of orange and teal across Tomorrowland itself… and new to the revamped Tomorrowland palette is this punchy peach color.

We knew something was up once we saw that this Mickey’s Star Traders wall was painted in all teal. Well, now it has a dash of peach that wraps around to the other entrance.

A section of the top wall was also painted, but you can see there are little markers where they’ll probably go back in with another color.

We love and appreciate the futuristic lines each section is getting. Makes it look more geometrical.

Here, you can see most of the recent additions: teal, yellow, and peach. Note that the peach isn’t the same as the orange creamsicle color (seen in the photo below) that was used for Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies and Merchant of Venus.

Walls have been painted in phases over the last two years, but this is all a part of the same overarching project that brought us the new retro Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor sign and the infamous remodeled Purple Wall.

And now… we wait for the next retro-pop color of the future.

  1. We’re going back to the old look which I like, but this brings me to the new Tron ride coming to tomorrow land, the new ride is out of place with the theam of that area, maybe Epoct or the studios,

  2. Has anyone else noticed that all of the new colors coming to Tomorrowland are on the Carousel of Progress building… or am I just making things up?
