Lights, camera, action! It’s time for another Hollywood Studios photo report! It’s a beautiful morning and the crowds are out and ready. You can definitely feel the effect from the Mickey’s of Hollywood refurbishment. Without a large store to roam around before rope drop, most guests are crammed into Celebrity 5 & 10 or out on the street. It feels much more crowded than usual.
After fighting the crowds in the Dark Room, I managed to score the latest limited edition pins. The Magic of Honor pin is limited edition 2000, and looks like a medal. This one is themed to the Haunted Mansion, and shows Madame Leota with the singing busts. This one can follow you home for $17.99.
The fifth Vintage Vinyl pin in the series also released. It’s limited edition 3000, and shows Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs on the cover. The record slides in and out and has the Evil Queen on it. This one is also $17.99.
These socks are pretty incredible.
The rainbow Mickey ear hat is available for $27.99 at Celebrity 5 & 10.
At least the streets are clear enough for the Citizens of Hollywood to get around.
I’m glad the handprints were repaired and not removed. You can check out what some of these handprints looked like in my previous photo report.
ABC Commissary is still under refurbishment, so signs are pointing guests towards PizzeRizzo.
Rizzo himself is here to welcome us to PizzeRizzo!
He’s adorable.
I really love the details around the restaurant. And of course, the Peanut Butter and Jelly Verrine.
Makes sense.
The upstairs theming is pretty cute.
But the banquet hall is my favorite!
Don’t even try to take me on a date to the Beast’s castle. I’d much rather hang out under the disco ball and listen to the Spice Girls and the Bee Gees at PizzeRizzo.
I told you it was a beautiful day.
Some Cast Members were making buttons to celebrate the 28th anniversary of Muppet*Vision 3D.
While most of the park undergoes major changes, Muppet*Vision 3D is quietly hiding in the back of Hollywood Studios… but that’s none of my business.
Some repairs have been made along the roof of Muppet*Vision 3D.
I can see some scaffolding along the back of the Muppet*Vision 3D building, but not really sure what’s going on. Possibly painting to help it blend into the background.
The opening date for Galaxy’s Edge is fast approaching.
I had to stop in and say hi to #IndyStitch
Now that the parks are smoke-free, the former smoking areas seem much more enjoyable.
A little bit of work on the ground outside of Rock n Rollercoaster.
With so many things closed for refurbishment, everything else around the park feels more crowded. I think I’m over the crowds for now.
Thanks for following us around Hollywood Studios today. Stay tuned to WDWNT.com for all the latest from around the parks and beyond!
Look close, Tracy is from Naboo…
Not happy about smoke free. Made smokers second class citizens. What about the drunks, the body odors, and swanky perfumes? I am a pass holder but my enjoyment has been cut by 50%. Will my pass prices? They did it right at Animal Kingdom and at EPCOT.
Whoa! You’re talking about some HUGELY different things here. Alcohol, body odor, and perfumes do not have direct physical health consequences for the people exposed to them. Smoking directly affects the respiratory system of the people near enough to experience it second hand and exposes them to the carcinogens in the smoke. Also, if you rely on smoking THAT much to enjoy the parks, then you might want to seek help.
I will allow perfume allergies can be an issue, but I doubt that’s what was intended.
Where is Indy Stitch? So cute
I don’t believe the walls at Muppet*Vision
are simply being repaired. It looks more like they were extended upwards to cover the fall safety railing on the rooftop (or, rather, to eliminate it altogether).
