We recently brought you photos of an all-white Merchant of Venus (prime love bug location, by the way), but we’re pleased to show you that the latest progress to the Tomorrowland paint project has brought a splash of orange and teal flanking the sides of the classic shop.
These same walls had been primed in preparation of the new paint just earlier in the week, with stripes still outlined on top of the store entrance, meaning even more color is headed this way.
Over by the Stitch meet and greet, even more orange and red geometric figures have been painted in.
Could this be the new Instagram wall? There isn’t nearly enough going on here.
Remnants of blue tape means that they aren’t quite finished with this area yet.
You could say this color scheme seems vaguely… Wreck-It Ralph-esque…
The Tomorrowland paint project continues. We watched the paint around Mickey’s Star Traders and Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies get a similar orange and teal paint job, and it’s only a matter of time before Tomorrowland debuts its completed new color scheme. Walls have been painted in phases over the last two years, but this is all a part of the same overarching project that brought us the new retro Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor sign and the infamous remodeled Purple Wall.
And now… we wait for the next retro-pop color of the future.
