In a somewhat surprising turn of events, the refurbishment of Beaches & Cream at Walt Disney World has been pushed back. Originally slated to close on August 6, 2019 the fan favorite restaurant is now accepting reservations through August 25.
During the refurbishment, an auxiliary location will be set up for guests to get their ice cream fix. Beaches & Cream is still expected to reopen sometime this winter.
Guests can visit Walt Disney World’s website or call (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations.
Why can’t they move this back until after January 1, 2020? Our family is so disappointed that it will not be open through the busy International Food and Wine Festival, Halloween and Chistmas. I don’t quite understand why it is being closed during such popular events.
