Monsters, Inc. is coming to the Disney+ streaming service and in a whole new way! “Monsters At Work” is an animated series set six months after the original movie and will feature the entire original voice cast, including John Goodman as Sulley, and Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, John Ratzenberger as the Yeti, Jennifer Tilly as Celia (yes, she’s back!) and Bob Peterson as Roz… and her twin sister Roze.

During a special panel yesterday at the Annecy International Animation Festival, the logo for the series, as well as some promotional artwork was revealed, and we could not be more excited for this spinoff.

The artwork that was revealed shows the newest character added to the franchise: Tylor Tuskmon, voiced by Ben Feldman, is an eager and talented young mechanic at the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT) who dreams of working his way up to the Laugh Floor to become a Jokester like his idols Mike and Sulley. His lifelong friend and confidante, Val Little, will be voiced by Kelly Marie Tran.

Best of all, if not slightly relieving, is the fact that it seems they’ll be employing the same animation style as was used in the movies. (As much as I love “Big Hero 6: The Series”, it just isn’t the same.)

Monsters at Work is produced by Disney Television Animation and was developed and produced by Bobs Gannaway (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse). The family-focused streaming service is expected to launch in November 2019, with the “Monsters At Work” series set to premiere in 2020.
