Darth Vader Meet and Greet Replacing Kylo Ren at Star Wars Launch Bay in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Starting August 29th

Disney has announced that starting August 29, a new Darth Vader meet and greet will be coming to the Star Wars Launch Bay. With Kylo Ren actively searching for resistance spies on Batuu, it seems his… grandfather will be taking his place. With the exception of March of the First Order, which met its end on July 6th, all other existing Star Wars offerings will remain in the park for guests to enjoy while “off planet” (as opposed to on Batuu.)

When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this new land will transport guests to the planet of Batuu, where they’ll be able to live your own adventure in and around Black Spire Outpost. When guests are “off planet” exploring the rest of the park, then can still enjoy a variety of other great Star Wars experiences that celebrate the entire saga.

I wish they had him 2 months ago when we were there. I live the originals more than the other movies. Hopefully he will still be around when we go back at the end of April. Now if they would only move bb8 and put in R2 and 3P0!

I absolutely HATE Kylo Ren, so much that I will not be going on Rise of the Resistance because he will be there, even though I am otherwise very interested in a trackless ride.

It was interesting (for lack of a better word) to meet Kylo Ren last December in the Disney Visa cardholders’ meet area, but I would rather always meet Darth Vader. Will Kylo remain in the cardholders’ meet? I assume this change is just for the regular meet line in Launch Bay. My questions here hardly ever get answered. Still waiting to hear if “It All Started with a Mouse” at AK is really gone for good or will return.

Why the heck did Disney put Kylo Ren there? Nobody cares about Kylo Ren! Nobody!

My understanding is Kylo will be in Galaxies Edge in some form so hopefully can meet both
