Disney Officially Announces Disney Character Buses Equipped with USB Charging Ports and Wi-Fi

Well, it is official. New Disney Transport “Sensational Six” buses will be hitting the roads of Walt Disney World starting this month. These new buses feature the likenesses of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto.

The buses that we spotted around property earlier this week will feature some unique elements to improve guests satisfaction. Each of these new Disney Transport buses will have USB ports for guests to charge their devices and WiFi for guests to stay connected.

These new-look busses have a refreshed interior featuring blue seats and laminate flooring. Check out our earlier article to see the interior of these new buses!

  1. I have an issue with this is the young folk will be so interested in charging their phones they will have more excuses not to give up their seats to those who need them. Also the rides are not that long in that how much can they really charge up

    • So youwould blame the young kids and not their parents. Its minds like yours that’s what’s wrong. Last time I checked, parents still in charge.

  2. I am sure Team Disney Orlando we’ll be monitoring Guest experiences on these Buses (from charging devices, making sure cables connected to devices don’t trip Guests, access for the disabled Guests, parents with kids access, etc).

They look cool – I’m 2nd for a Donald – Daisy Duck Buses, an a Goofy Bus would be nice (judging by how crowded these Shuttle Buses could get, WDW may need more in the fleight).

  3. Being paranoid, wondering if the buses for All Stars will be one of the new fleet or will Deluxe resorts only be served

    • Well eventually they will roll them out fleetwide I’d imagine. Right now this is just a test run.

    • Traditionally the better buses have gone to the All-Stars since that’s where its needed most. The deluxe resorts get monorails and boats.
