Everywhere you look, The Lion King is standing in the spotlight lately! The original animated feature just celebrated its 25th anniversary, and the new live-action film is stampeding into theaters on July 19th, so naturally we are seeing Lion King treats and merch pop up all across property. We recently found the new Lion King popcorn bucket at the cart across from Tamu Tamu refreshments, and today a new Lion King Sipper cup arrived at the same location!
The cup features Simba on one side, and on the opposite, Timon, Pumba, and Simba trot across the phrase “Hakuna Matata” (which means “no worries for the rest of your days”, for those not in the know.)
The cup is very tall and narrow, and isn’t the most exciting or creative sipper cup Disney has released recently, but it’s definitely more reasonably priced to reflect that. If you’re a big Lion King fan, it’s still a cute addition to your collection.
