You really won’t want to fill in all of the available space now. After being removed in what is undoubtedly the hottest, muggiest, and rainiest time of the entire year, the queue awnings at The Haunted Mansion have returned, albeit partially.
“The overheated masses are materializing in a sweaty, balmy wake…”
The one silver lining in all this is that they actually thought to incorporate varying shades of green to make stripes like the ones seen in Cast Member costumes at the attraction. The dark and light forest green stripes are practically an HM motif at this point, so that was a good decision, design-wise.
However, that’s where all the praise ends. No, literally. The awnings end halfway through the covered queue, leaving the entire middle section still exposed until you’re under the shelter of the older awning (that was never removed.)

Is this line actually stretching? Or is it your imagination? Hopefully the remaining part of the queue gets some coverage in the coming days. We’ll keep you updated as changes to the area occur. Now, look alive…
