If you figured you’d wait it out until Legacy Lightsabers at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities went down in price, you still have much to learn, young padawan. Despite constant merchandise supply shortages plaguing the specialty shop in Galaxy’s Edge, it appears that with waves of re-stocking come price increases, as well. A variety of Legacy Lightsabers are now back in stock, however, not with an extra few credits tacked onto the cost…

Mace Windu Lightsaber – $129.99 (Previously $109.99)

Do keep in mind that these lightsaber hilts are sold separately from their respective blades. A 36-inch blade, for example, will cost you an additional $49.99.

It appears that persistent demand for these items well into the land’s opening has opened the window for potential price increases, so we expect price increases to affect other popular items, as well.

Keep your enemies close, and your credits closer.

  1. So let me get this straight, attendance is down, everyone is complaining about the price of everything, SWGE is from what i have seen Everywhere is not doing well, and the answer is to Raise prices? Universal was rated the #1 Amusement park for 2019, and there packed on both coasts and Disney’s answer is to raise prices….WTF….Do they have a dart board that has a bunch of ideas on it and just throwing darts to make decisions?

    • I know what people are saying about attendance being down, but the few times I’ve been there that hasn’t been the problem. Not to mention, they keep selling out of everything. I agree with you on why would they raise the prices, but I can only think of keeping up with demand or something.

    • We were just in Galaxy Edge in Orlando this week, and attendance did seem lower than we expected, but they were out of everything… It feels like people are buying merch and then heading to Toy Story Land, which seems sad to me. We didn’t wait longer than 20 minutes for Smugglers Run over two days in the park.

  2. That’s NOT “Rey’s” Lightsaber – that’s LUKE’S (or more accurately ANAKIN’S) Lightsaber.

I don’t think that’s Mace Windu’ lightsaber either – it doesn’t say Bad MF on the bottom of it…

  3. I really hope people will soon get tired of Disney constantly trying to empty their pockets. The price increases will come back and bite them pretty soon, at least I hope so. I hope they crash pretty bad.

  4. LOL!!! It hasn’t even been 3 months and Disney is ALREADY increasing those prices!?!? LOL!!!!

I told people they were going to do this but even I didn’t think it was going to be THIS soon.
Star Wars is not a story or a universe for Disney. It is a money grab. They are going to milk the franchise dry and I hope they annoy the fans enough to dissuade them from spending their money and lose their shirts on Generic Space Adventure Land.

    • “Oh noes! They went with who most recently wields it!” – quote you and Skywise up there.

    • It is Rey’s saber because that’s how the lightsaber looks when Rey uses it. It looked different when Luke used it in ANH and different from when Luke used it in ESB. It also looked different when Anakin used it in ROTS. Calling this particular version the Rey saber is therefore pretty standard. If they called it the Luke saber people would be upset that it doesn’t look like Luke’s saber from ANH or ESB. If they called it the Anakin saber then people would be upset that it doesn’t look like the saber Anakin used in ROTS.

  5. Just to be clear… the Darth Maul one is just for one half of his lightsaber, correct? So if you wanted both halves, which was already a ridiculous $259 without the blades ($357 with), now it’s $278 without the blades and $376 with? Plus tax?

Is Disney trying to make more money or just price everyone out of the experience altogether?

  6. That’s ridiculous, as we have been waiting for orlando to open, i thought prices were good originally now they are going up this is just unacceptable. They havent even given every one the opportunity to experience swge. Super disappointed disney!

  7. Wow! The Disney era of greed continues …. even though it’s beginning to backfire over the summer season (well, if sheep will pay extra? Disney will keep raising prices!) 🤷🏼‍♀️
