A new shipment of Dole Whip has landed at the Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland Park, just in time for the hot summer days ahead. The Chile-Mango Dole Whip is the newest Loaded Whip option on the menu at the Adventureland restaurant. While the previous Orange-Pineapple Swirl Loaded Whip offers something sweet for guests, this new Chile-Mango Whip is great if you’re looking for a savory treat.

A swirl of Pineapple Mango-flavored Whip is topped with pineapple chunks, cucumber, jicama, chamoy, mango, and chile-lime seasoning. The Whip tastes like plain Pineapple Whip and doesn’t have much mango flavor. In fact, I couldn’t taste much mango at all, aside from the large piece of dried mango. But that doesn’t mean this Loaded Whip isn’t good. In fact, it was rather delicious and packed with flavor.

The weirdest topping might be the cucumber, but somehow it works with the soft serve, chamoy, and chile-lime seasoning. I didn’t find this frozen treat to be spicy at all, making it something that everyone can enjoy. Overall, I was surprised to find how delicious this was. It’s not something that I would normally think to order, but the Dole Whip and chile-lime flavors make a really great combo.

If you’re looking for a frozen treat that’s more savory than sweet, then I highly recommend trying the new Chile-Mango Dole Whip. So far, we’re really impressed with both Loaded Whip options and can’t wait to see what the next shipment brings to Tropical Hideaway.
