Curl by Sammy Duvall, located in Disney Springs West Side by Splitsville, will close its doors forever on August 15, 2019. First opened in 2007 in Downtown Disney’s Pleasure Island, Curl relocated to the West Side in 2013 to allow for construction on Pleasure Island.
It is rumored that the Ample Hills Creamery location announced for Disney Springs West Side will take this space. The size and location of Curl make this seem like the perfect fit for Ample Hills to open their second location at Walt Disney World. However, the location could also lend itself to house the latest Splitsville expansion, so its precise use is yet to be determined.
Guests can still find many swimwear and accessories at various shops at Disney Springs, including the soon-to-open Ron Jon Surf Shop, which is set to open in late 2019.
