Galaxy’s Edge connection re-established… downloading WDWNTunes protocol… begin re-welcoming procedures!
Hi, there! This is DJ R-3X! You might remember me from my time as a Star Tours captain, but ever since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened, I’ve been spinning tracks over at Oga’s Cantina as the galaxy’s greatest DJ! A few months back, this alien called ‘Tahm Corrr Lesssh’ told me to play some of my music here at WDWNTunes, and now I’m back at it again!
On Thursday, August 29th, I’ll be taking over the WDWNTunes programming to celebrate the opening of Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World. You might hear some of my personal recordings of my trips at Star Tours, shows like Hyperspace Hoopla, as well as music from all those holographic movies- what do they call them? Star Wars? If you can’t make it to Batuu, it’s the easiest way to travel to a galaxy far, far away!
But that’s not all! I’ll also be playing a special surprise. Turns out some very talented people made radio dramas based on those same holographic movies! So throughout the day, you can listen to them re-enact some of the galaxy’s greatest moments. I’ve listened to them myself, and just between you and me, some of them are even better than the movies!
- From 8AM to 1PM, you can listen to the story of A New Hope!
- From 2PM to 5:30PM, you can listen to the story of The Empire Strikes Back!
- From 7PM to 9:30PM, you can listen to the story of Return of the Jedi!
