When arriving at the Magic Kingdom, guests traveling by bus will encounter the new bag check and security screening area.
Yesterday, the two rows of white tents that had previously acted as the security area were surrounded by scrim-lined fencing.
Today, it appears the two former security tents were taken down or removed from behind the fencing. The green barricades still wrap around multiple sections at the entrance.
Guests will find that the pathway towards the boat docks is open by the Will Call window. It’s beginning to look a bit like a labyrinth around here, but thankfully there are a lot of signs guiding you in the right direction.
Guests now pass through the newer, larger tent for bag check. This structure looks a little better, but still quite temporary.
We also noticed one of those mysterious green brick removal boxes near the entrance to the monorail, so we’ll be keeping an eye on that.
Things are continuing to shift around here at the entrance of Magic Kingdom, but this is all in an effort to improve the overall guest experience when arriving at the park. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates on the work around the entrance and more changes coming to the Magic Kingdom!
