Grilled Sweet-and-Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Pepper, Onion and Snap Peas – $6.00

There’s a few plump, spicy shrimp in this mixture of vegetables and seafood. The shrimp are cooked to have a great plump exterior and a wonderful spice. All of the vegetables have the same flavorful spice to them, making this an interesting enough dish to warrant a purchase. In previous years, the shrimp ranged from small to large, your portion may vary.

*NEW* Roasted Lamb Chop with Sweet Potato Purée, Bushberry Pea Salad, and Pistachio-Pomegranate Gremolata – $7.75

Australia Food Wine 20192

The roasted lamb chop was presented on a sweet potato puree and topped with a bushberry pea salad and a pistachio-pomegranate gremolata. The lamb itself was a little unseasoned, slightly fatty, but tender enough to eat. Sweet potato purée was very smooth and a nice compliment to the lamb chop.

*NEW* Deconstructed Pavlova with Pastry Cream, Citrus-macerated Berries, and Lemon Myrtle Meringue – $4.00

Australia Food Wine 20193

This dish is very sweet as expected and the berries paired well with the pastry cream. However, the meringue cookies were exceptionally hard and did not compliment the berries and pastry cream. We didn’t seem to taste any of the citrus macerations in the berries, which was a disappointment.

Coopers Brewery Original Pale Ale (4.5% ABV) – $4.50

Coopers Brewery describes their Original Pale Ale: “Fruity and floral characters balanced with a crisp bitterness give this ‘perfect for all occasions’ ale its compelling flavor. ”

Hope Estate “Wollombi Brook” Semillon, Hunter Valley ($12/bottle) – $5.00

Wine Awesomeness says this wine has an aroma of “honeyed apricots and crushed almonds with white flowers and mineral notes. Silky and lean, the wine is smooth with a waxy-fruit character. A gentle acidity cleans up the richness of agave and floral flavors.”

Franklin Tate Estates Chardonnay, Margaret River ($16/bottle) – $6.00

From Franklin Tate Estates: “This wine exhibits aromatics of white peach, nectarine, and cashew,” with “flavors of stone fruit, citrus, and spice. The palate has a creamy texture and balanced acidity.”

*NEW* 3 Rings Shiraz, Barossa Valley ($18/bottle) – $6.00

3 Rings says their Shiraz has an aroma of “expressive and powerful notes of dark and exotic wild berries.” Their notes on the palate: “: A full-bodied wine. Layered beautifully with texture and elegance. Strong presence of dark and rich chocolates, traces of tar, leather, and spice lead to a core of supple yet immense fruit-driven characteristics, with a flavor wrapped finish towards the end of the palate.”

Wine Flight – $6.25
