Good morning from Disney Springs! It’s breakfast time, and we popped over to D-Luxe Burger this morning to try the newest addition to their menu, the Breakfast Poutine.

As usual for a poutine recipe, this is a base of a generous serving of fries, but for the breakfast recipe, it is topped with cheese curds, sausage gravy, and a fried egg.

Before I even dove into eating this very dense pile of food, I could already tell that this was going to be a good fried egg. You can see in the photo the yolk just waiting to ooze out into the gravy. Speaking of the gravy, it did have a very strong sausage flavor to it, with a healthy amount of sausage chunks in it, enough so that every bite had a bit of sausage in it.

There was a really good amount of the Wisconsin cheese curds underneath the gravy as well. Usually, I feel like most Disney foods are pretty light on the toppings, but I was very pleased with the ratio of toppings to fries in the serving I got.

Overall, I would say this is a good addition to the menu. It’s a very large portion, so it’s very easy to share, and that makes the price point of $9.49 feel worth it. Be warned though, it is very heavy and very filling if you’re planning to hit up the parks in the heat after you eat this.
