“Mickey Shorts Theater” Venue Taking Over Star Wars: Path of the Jedi at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Spring 2020

UPDATE: Disney has since confirmed that this offering is set to take over the Star Wars: Path of the Jedi seasonal theater attraction.

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney is celebrating new attractions and lands that will make a visit to the park even more extraordinary, with immersive experiences for guests of all ages.

As guests prepare to step into the wacky world of a Mickey Mouse cartoon short next year in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Disney has just shared a vague announcement that “there’s even more zany adventures coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this spring.”

Joining the park’s theater district will be a reimagined venue, the Mickey Shorts Theater. Disney has not mentioned what exactly will be featured inside the venue.

As to the location of the venue itself, there’s reason to believe this might take over a seasonal space, like the Path of the Jedi, but with so many theater spaces located throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s hard to pinpoint which one this early on.

  3. They’re building a theatre in the shape of Mickey’s shorts? That’s a very strange concept, but it sounds like it’ll be really cool.
