UPDATE: Disney has since confirmed that this offering is set to take over the Star Wars: Path of the Jedi seasonal theater attraction.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney is celebrating new attractions and lands that will make a visit to the park even more extraordinary, with immersive experiences for guests of all ages.
As guests prepare to step into the wacky world of a Mickey Mouse cartoon short next year in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Disney has just shared a vague announcement that “there’s even more zany adventures coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this spring.”
Joining the park’s theater district will be a reimagined venue, the Mickey Shorts Theater. Disney has not mentioned what exactly will be featured inside the venue.
As to the location of the venue itself, there’s reason to believe this might take over a seasonal space, like the Path of the Jedi, but with so many theater spaces located throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s hard to pinpoint which one this early on.

Our house LOVES the new toons! They’re hilarious
Agreed, I’m not a fan of the Ren and Stimpy style either. And the little bit I’ve seen of the shorts was, in my opinion, inappropriate content for my preschooler. This definitely won’t be a stop on our next visit.
Whaaaaat???!!!! Isn’t this the kind of thing the Magic Eye Theater at Epcot is for???? Replace “Path of the Jedi” with the preview films and put “One Man’s Dream” back in. STAAHP KILLING STUDIOS!!!!!!
P.S. ZINCERS ARE FOR STINKERS!!!!

They’re building a theatre in the shape of Mickey’s shorts? That’s a very strange concept, but it sounds like it’ll be really cool.
